The crew members

With over 40 years of experience at sea, Jean-François is a seasoned skipper. A maritime pilot at the Port of Dunkirk for more than 20 years, he has sailed on all the oceans and piloted ships over 400 meters long.  

 

On board, he takes pride in offering personalized guidance and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and professional experience. His extensive career and deep knowledge of the maritime world guarantee you a serene voyage.

Water activities

We provide a paddleboard and snorkeling equipment on board. The boat's submersible gangway allows for pleasant swimming while anchored. We can also organize, in collaboration with our partners, various water activities such as jet skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, and water skiing.

Our Story

It all started with two childhood friends, Gilles and Jean-François, who are the founders of the Trieux project. Their deep friendship was forged beside the river that borders their hometown.


 

Like the river itself, their bond was rekindled at sea, creating an opportunity to share that strong connection in an environment that invites escape.
 This is what they aimed to offer with Trieux—a unique way to take to the sea and share it with those we love.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Yatch
Can we bring a pet ?
No, you cannot bring your pet on board, however we offer you the possibility of having your faithful companion looked after by one of our Dog Sitter partners.
Should I take insurance ?
Yes, you must have liability insurance. We also offer daily insurance, which you can purchase online that morning using your full name, first name, and nationality.
What is the budget for fuel ?
On the day of embarkation, the skipper will take a fuel level reading. A second reading will be taken upon disembarkation. The boat rental includes a diesel fuel charge for up to 30 nautical miles of navigation. Only the difference in diesel fuel found in excess of this charge will be charged.
Will I be refunded in case of bad weather ?
If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, we will refund your rental in full.
When can I cancel ?
For a cancellation request made more than one week before the start of the rental, only the administration fees will be due to the lessor, for a fixed amount of 120 euros. If this request is made less than one week before the start of the rental, the deposit paid and/or due will be retained by the lessor. However, if the latter manages to re-rent the reserved boat, for the same period, the latter will reimburse the entire deposit less the amount of the administration fees.
